I am fortunate I had the opportunity to be exposed to shooting at a younger age. After graduating college, I saw how much I enjoyed shooting. I also realized just owning a gun and going to the range was not enough. In 2010, I took a more serious approach, sought out higher levels of instruction, and trained more frequently to continually improve my shooting ability. In 2019 I became a certified firearms instructor in order to share my passion with others.

Learning is a continual process, even for instructors. Here are some of the instructors/companies I have trained with: Tom Givens Rangemaster, Modern Samurai Project, Reston Group, EDC Pistol Training, Kinetic Consulting, Sage Dynamics, Thunderbolt Defense, Firearms Training Academy, Tactical Firearms Academy, and others. Applications include red dot pistol fundamentals, pistol, rifle, and shotgun fundamentals, shooting while moving, effective use of cover and concealment, rifle and pistol low light/no light tactics, performance fighting, defensive shooting/tactics, effective instructor techniques, and more.

• ASP Tactical Baton & Handcuff Certification

• Armed security officer experience in both uniform and plain clothes

• Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Course participant (class April 2021)
